via online e-learning followed by a practical session of
instruction and assessment.

No D1
Drivers without a D1 Licence category (i.e with only a car entitlement (B) classification) can drive minibuses for non-profit making organisations with certain RESTRICTIONS:
- Vehicle weights are no more than 3500kg or no more than 4250kg if for carriage of disabled people.
- Drivers must be over 21 years old.
- Drivers must have held their car licence for 2 years.
- Drivers must not be paid to drive (but includes teachers or similar who are not specifically paid to drive a minibus as their main role)
- Can't tow a trailer.
- Can't drive abroad.
No D1

Our courses can be specially tailored to meet the needs of school and college teachers, including the rules and practical guidance governing teachers without a minibus entitlement on their driving licence.
